How I Organise My Bum Marketing

I published another article today...right on track.

I have generally been quite poor at tracking and testing. It's strange because my background is in engineering, a scientific discipline where experimentation is all part of the process. The problem is, tweaking only one thing and retesting is such a laborious chore in all aspects of life!

If we only tweaked one thing at a time, it would take forever to go through all the permutations and potential opportunities would be lost, in my opinion.

Nevertheless, we should still try to keep some structure, especially in Bum Marketing.

For my Bum Marketing project, I've decided to keep a spreadsheet with columns such as:

  • Keyword Phrase
  • Clickbank Tracking ID

I've also created more columns which act as checks for my keywords:

  • Overture score between 1,000 and 5,000
  • Less than 1,000 results in Google for USFreeads/Goarticles
  • Less than 10,000 results in Google for Ezinearticles
  • Top 10 Google Results mostly low PR sites

All my chosen keywords must meet the above conditions, with some rare or occasional exemptions. The reason for this is that to make the most return on my time, I must be efficient in my use of it so therefore only good keywords will do. Poor keywords are a false economy in the long run.

Well, gotta get some winks so I'll see you around, hope you found the above useful!

Hey there!

Just found your blog today and have been looking over it.

I was curious if you plan to use Searchwarp.com for any of your article submissions.

Keep up the good work!
