BUM Marketing Outsourcing Update

An update - 3 projects nearly completed from rentacoder. Unfortunately, 2 of the 3 projects have come back not up to the required standard. I requested a specific keyword density and format of the articles yet this has been ignored!

Well, I don't hand over money until the job is done, but it is very annoying, and these people seemingly have very high ratings! Methinks that people are stroking each others' egos on these sites and giving each other high ratings.

Anyway, I'll let you know what happens.

My other projects which I have been neglecting lately are an Adwords project (that I will hopefully get under way today) and also a Clickbank project, which is to write my own ebook, but on what I do not know.......

Hi Bum Marketing,

I'm Rod Smith from Rent a Coder and I happened to run across your posting. I'm glad to hear one of the projects completed succesfully, but am sorry to hear about the other two which are languishing.

That is very good and the smartest thing you can do to protect yourself. As long as you don't make the mistake of paying before you have the deliverables, you never have to worry about losing your money in this situation.

The other thing I'd like to check into: did you use an Expert Guarantee? Escrowing and arbitration return your money if the coder doesn't complete the work...but the EG will protect your time. When you use this, the coder must place a deposit to guarantee completion. This aligns them more closely with you and your goals and makes them less likely to even bid unless they are serious about your project.

If you still have problems and can't resolve them, of course, just place the project into arbitration...that protection is always there for you.

If you'd like other help in selecting coders, just email any of us at facilitator (at) rentacoder (dot) com.

Better luck with your 2 projects.

Rod Smith
